Privacy & Information Stewardship
Discretion begins before an engagement. WFIG treats the handling of submitted information as part of the work itself.
Information We Receive
We receive information that you choose to provide through inquiries, invitation-based account registration, authenticated portal activity, and direct engagement communications. This may include contact information, organizational information, matter descriptions, account credentials, and documents submitted through an authorized client workflow.
How Information Is Used
Submitted information is used to evaluate inquiries, administer approved access, coordinate engagements, protect the integrity of client workflows, respond to authorized requests, maintain operational records, and meet applicable legal or professional obligations. WFIG does not sell client-submitted information.
Public Inquiry Boundaries
The public inquiry form is intended for preliminary contact only. Do not use it to transmit privileged, classified, restricted, export-controlled, or highly sensitive evidence. Sensitive material should be exchanged only through a WFIG-approved channel after access and handling requirements are established.
Client Portal Information
Authenticated portal information is associated with the authorized user and matter workflow. Access should be limited to designated individuals. Retention and disposition of matter materials should follow the applicable engagement instructions and approved document-handling procedures.
Data Minimization
WFIG requests only the information reasonably necessary to understand a matter, establish access, or perform an authorized workflow. Clients and prospective clients should avoid sending unnecessary personal or sensitive information.
Questions & Requests
Questions about website information handling, access, or a submitted inquiry may be directed through the WFIG contact process. Verification may be required before information about an account or matter is disclosed or changed.
